Fantastic hidden gem for people who are curious about astronomy.
It's normally an unmanned facility, so there is not a lot to see here but very informative to get to know how radio telescopes work on the history of the technology
A bit scary place. You, huge telescopes and nobody around. Lots of flies and a sign "Beware of snakes". If you don’t pay attention to all of this, it’s a very interesting place. The telescopes are stunning. There is a small museum with some interesting information and an opportunity to take home some crosswords and puzzles.
Pay attention that the restroom in a separate building is awful but in the museum building (entrance from the outside) is clean.
A unique and interesting place to visit. Some of the audio visual material is dated, but the architecture and engineering is phenomenal.
Very interesting and special place. About 30 minutes drive from Narrabri. The telescopees, old and new, look like great architectural constructions.
