The recently built McBrides Beach walking track is a 600-metre walk that descends through regenerating littoral rainforest. After about 25 minutes you'll emerge onto beautiful and isolated McBrides Beach, nestled between rugged cliffs.

It's one of those beaches that has you instantly mesmerised and is as good as it looks. It really is the ideal place to escape for the day. This beach is not patrolled.

McBrides Beach is beautiful and I felt like I was lost on a tropical paradise somewhere on a remote island in the Pacific. The Beach is surrounded by spectacular hills. I spent some time walking along the rocks and discovering lots of shells.
Follow this for 3-4Kms Climb the steep hill and turn off to the left onto Mcbrides Beach Trail. Theres a large carpark up the top, this is a great place to air down. Between 15-20Psi is suitable depending on your setup. As the beach down the bottom can be quite soft but it always helps to have that extra grip for that steep decent.
