In 1919, the first manager of Kandos Cement envisioned a proud future for modern Kandos leaving a legacy of his beloved Spanish Mission-styled church. The church is now Kandos Museum, telling the story of that thriving 20th Century town that made the cement that made Sydney. The general opinion is that he would have approved - come and see.

Kandos Museum The Kandos Museum is located in the old Kandos Methodist Church at 22 Buchanan Street. The church was built in 1919 and is the first Spanish Mission style church in Australia. It is "a modern concrete building with a flat roof and a rectangular floor plan. The cement works donated the concrete for the building.
