(April 18, 2019, 11:06 pm)The new adventure playground (April 2019) is really great! Flat and wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets, picnic tables, BBQs and modern self cleaning toilets. This park has made Lithgow a must-do stop on the trip from Sydney to Orange. It's great to have an adventure playground to take us away from the nearby fast food restaurants!???? Don't miss the finer details, there are some fascinating little sculptures and interesting bits in the sandstone walls. Strong coal mining theme which talks to the area's recent history, and a yarning circle, rock art and serpent talking about the indigenous history.
