Great little adventure to find out some of Sydney's transport past.
This was great fun. So many old busses, plus the opportunity to ride on an old double decker bus across the Harbour Bridge was great.
Great part of history. Well maintained. Wonderfully informative. Double decker bus trip was a delightful ride down memory lane. Well worth a look!!!
Really cool if you like old buses. Probably not if you don’t. The museum exhibits are very bus focused with the exception of the two taxis. The gift shop is surprisingly pricey with a huge range of matchbox car sized model buses which retail for up to $150. Staffed by very knowledgeable and dedicated volunteers.
Very large collection of heritage buses and some other assorted taxis and old memorabilia of the old days of buses. Most cities in the world have train and tram museums, but very few have bus museums! The heritage bus rides are very authentic and a great day out for everyone. Very convenient location, close to buses and the Leichhardt North tram stop.
