my local hang to read the Sunday papers for free, a nice comfortable cool/warm place to relax on a too hot/cold/rainy day.
Others complain about kids crying but it is a community centre, not just for overseas students wanting quiet with their free internet.
Old Chinese folk love the free Chinese newspapers and Chinese books here also for kids, and there is a kids play area where untrained kids tend to make too much noise sometimes - until they are told. A good community centre.
Also free computers with free access to Ancestry for family history research.
Seems to have the biggest and newest collection of children's books compared to other City of Sydney branches. Fantastic choices too. We love it!
Good storytime and kids workshops. The library is not for those students who study all day or sleep, they better go to their uni’s library as school kids have no access.
Great selection of books, outdoor area for recreational activities as well
