This cafe is pretty darn good, we buy a freshly ground coffee beans a from here every week or 2. The place is small and alway extremely busy, I think it's more of a place for the locals to be seen by their mates more than a great place to go for coffee and food but the coffee is better than most places and the food is decent but a little overpriced for myself.

Dose Espresso is a fantastic addition to the North Shore coffee scene and it already looks like a hit with the locals who know where to find it (hidden inside the courtyard of a shopping arcade that is yet to be opened). Dose Espresso 187-191 High St Willoughby North, NSW 2068 Phone: 02 9967 2552
Yes, yes, yes to the risotto! Not only was presentation on point, the flavours were intense and they did not skimp on the mushrooms. A little heavy for the first meal of the day, but an enjoyable one nonetheless.
Dose Espresso is discreetly hidden away from the busy High Street. It is not hard to see why it is so popular, the open and breezy setup makes this an ideal brunching spot or just to chill out. I can envisage myself sitting under one of the shade umbrellas and spread out with the weekend papers with a good cup of coffee.
Dose sees a constant flow of locals - young families, young adults, retirees, health nuts, you name it. And it's not surprising. Willoughby was recently named the third biggest coffee consuming area in Sydney, after the CBD and Mascot, and Dose has been at the forefront of that movement.
Bringing in-house roasting to a quiet pocket of Willoughby. Part of the new development on High Street in North Willoughby, which promises to become a foodie hub in coming months, the team at Dose opened their doors (and huge folding glass windows) late last year, and already they're attracting regulars, mothers groups and coffee lovers alike.
