A blend of the finest single malts and top-quality grain whiskies, it's inspired by Bill McCoy's courage to introduce Cutty Sark into Prohibition-dry America. Bottle at 50% ABV, its full flavour stands out excellently in cocktails. So impress your friends the next chance you get, with the whisky in the black glass bottle.

Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship. Built on the River Leven, Dumbarton, Scotland in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line, she was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, coming at the end of a long period of design development for this type of vessel, which halted as steamships took over their routes.
Cutty Sark, three-masted British clipper ship, launched at Dumbarton, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, in 1869. The Cutty Sark was 212 feet 5 inches (64.7 metres) long and 36 feet (11 metres) wide, and it had a net tonnage of 921. Its name (meaning "short shirt") came from the garment worn by the witch Nannie in Robert Burns 's poem Tam o'Shanter.
Warm flavor. Hints of vanilla, honey, oak, pecans, and a smell of lilacs. Really smooth. Compares to Jameson, better than Grants scotch. Enough smoke to have a strong finish. Can drink it neat, without any extras. Not the best, but far from the worse. 2nd February 2021. A great blended scotch.

Cutty Sark is a blend, but it's definitely on the upper end of blends and, for the most part, I've always considered it quite palatable. Not a world changer by any means, but Its overall character reminds me of a basic no-frills Speysider and it has a nice balance and sweetness to it. Yes it's light, but it's also cheap and for about 1/ ...
