The American Haflinger Registry is a democratic member-owned association dedicated to providing timely and accurate documentation of Haflinger pedigrees and ownership, as well as promoting the Haflinger breed through the sponsorship of shows, sales, advertising and our voluntary classification program.
The Haflinger horse is a small, palomino-colored Austrian horse that breeders created during the 19 th century. It's safe, dependable, and intelligent, with plenty of stamina. Owners often use it for traversing thin trails or as a packhorse. It has an easy-going personality and a hard-working attitude.
American Haflinger Registry (AHR) All of our Haflingers at Bryan Hill Farm are registered through this official registry. AHR was created in 1998 and includes over 98% of the Haflinger owners in North America and over 15,000 Haflingers. The AHR assists to provide accurate documentation of Haflinger pedigrees and history of ownership records.
