I started my apprenticeship in 1975 at Fubbs Furniture in Sydney. In 1976 I went with the foreman of Fubbs to start a new business which incorporated new contract furniture for Fubbs & Buckley in Sydney and also started furniture restoration in antiques and modern re-upholstery.
