Great friendly place, visited in winter, will return when the gardens come back on in spring to try a picnic hamper
Has huge potential ... Leura certainly welcomes the "new kid on the block". We have been a few times now, and each time, there is a small improvement on the menue. At the moment it is open from 10am on a weekend (not sure what time it closes). Anyway, it is worth a visit! What's more is that you can take your pooch (as long as you sit on the verandah). There are areas under the trees where people sit on chairs and tables or on blankets (like a picnic). The gardens are a work in progress and there is a small nursery, selling plants.
A fantastic place to sit around a fire pit and have great coffee and amazing pastries. The staff were also really nice! Would highly recommend!
Great spot. Busy day so we ended up clearing our own table and had to send a mocha back for lack of coffee but really these were just teething issues I think, the staff were good about it. The coffee was quite good and couldn’t resist one of their treats - went with the scone and it didn’t disappoint. Wifey loved the cute little shop happening. Warm sunny day sitting at the entrance/porch was great. The place was full of kids and so real drawcard for families.
Like a dream and out of nowhere, artisan coffee and croissants appear on our doorstep! Well nearly - on our street ...
In a move that is nothing short of magical, the old Sorensen Glasshouse has been brought to sparkling life in the most enchanting way: a fairytale setting, surrounded by and beneath historic pines trees, you could sit and dream here for hours.
Inside is pretty as a picture with botanical drawings, twisted floral garlands, succulents and natives, all for sale and offered in a space that manages to provide lots of the same - space! - a wonderful commodity in this part of the world!
Delicious sour dough breads and sandwiches, hot soup at the ready! Simplicity at its very best.
But most of all - coffee. Sit in or drink it strolling home, LA style!
